Cheap Android phones makes it possible for the low budget peoples to hold an amazing OS which was earlier seen only in high end smartphones. Recently Android powered devices are available in the market for price even less than $100. Now, in the beginning of 2012 we are witnessing a steady flow of cheap Android phones hitting the market. It is because of the open source nature of the Android OS that makes this possible. OEMs need not build their own OS for their handset, there's an already proven powerful open source software available for anyone to use. The much awaited phone Motorola Droid Maxx is finally gonna be released on January 26th.  Initially the device will be available for purchase only through Verizon Wireless Network's stores. The Razr Maxx is a larger version of the original Motorola Droid Razr. The main improvements are in the dimensions and battery. Motorola claims that it is the long lasting phone which is impossibly thin. The 3300 mAh battery is expected to power up the device for a straight 21 hours of talk time. Even if the device is released with Gingerbread OS, the official Ice cream Sandwich update will be released soon. With 8.99mm thickness, it is one of the thinnest smartphones ever released.

HTC HD2- The most developed phone of all the time, gets another great modification. A senior developer in the XDA-Developer team released the touch enabled version of ClockworkMod Recovery. In CWR, which is installed on all devices, navigation was possible only through the use of volume up / down buttons. In this version, there are some touch buttons on the bottom of the screen for navigation and for making selections. It is currently in the beta version and the stable versions may be released soon.
